CCmath is a software and consultancy firm that specializes in quantitative issues in call centers.
We believe that workforce management can be improved by applying advanced mathematical methods adapted to the particular problems of contact centers.
Our roots are at the Department of Mathematics of the VU University Amsterdam,
where research on call centers has been undertaken for more than 12 years.
The affiliated VU research group "Optimization of Business Processes" is one of the most prominent research groups in the world in the area of call centers.
CCmath is founded in 2005 by Ger Koole and Auke Pot.
They are still the driving forces behind CCmath.
When necessary they hire additional expertise on a project basis.

Prof.dr. Ger Koole divides his time between VU University, VU medical center and CCmath. He is full professor of business mathematics and the author of more than 60 publications in international scientific journals, many of them in the area of call centers.
He is specialized in planning under uncertainty and its applications in the service sector.

Dr. Auke Pot received his Ph.D. in 2006 with a thesis on skill-based routing in call centers.
During his undergraduate studies he did several internships at big Dutch financial institutions (ING and ABN Amro), and he participated in several projects in call centers.
Next to skill-based routing he is a specialized in workforce scheduling and data analysis.
His scientific papers can be found on his VU web site. Dr. Pot is full-time employed by CCmath and is mainly concerned with software development.
