The Erlang B model is a mathematical description of a service system where customers that find
all resources occupied leave the system.
The performance measure that is of main interest is therefore the percentage of blocked service requests.
This model is of limited interest to call centers, because there is no waiting queue.
It is often used by telecom providers to dimension their networks.
To use this formula the number of arrivals and service time should be given in the same unit of time!
